Low pressure exits well northeast of the region on Wednesday. This will be followed by high pressure gradually building in from the west. Early rain, fog, and some pockets of freezing rain will taper off early, with a mainly dry afternoon expected. Abundant clouds to start will scatter out and decrease in the afternoon. Much more mild temperatures are expected Wednesday with high temperatures getting well into the 40s for a majority of the forecast area.
