There is a risk for flash flooding across much of the Permian Basin and Stockton Plateau into Big Bend for Wednesday through Thursday morning. While not everyone will see rain or experience flooding, flash flooding is likely to occur in/near poor drainage, low lying, and sloped terrain where heavier and/or repeated heavy storms occur. Flood waters can be deeper than they appear. Remember to never drive through flood waters and seek higher ground if flood waters threaten.
