Dreary weather is on hand for today with rain expected to occur through much of the daytime into this evening. After a cloudy, but dry and mild Saturday, another chance for rain is in the forecast late Saturday night into Sunday, mainly for locations near and east of I-55. A cooling trend will begin going into the new year, with another weather system likely to bring precipitation to the region on New Year’s Eve.
