A storm system will bring rain to Northern Humboldt County Friday night through Saturday afternoon. By Saturday evening rain showers expand South and East reaching most areas North of the Interstate 80 corridor and East to the Ruby Mountains. Saturday night snow levels will lower to around 6000 feet, with light snow accumulations to higher elevation valley locations such as Jarbidge. Showers continue over much of Northern Nevada on Sunday with snow levels climbing back up to 6500-7000 feet. Snow levels Sunday night lower back down to around 6000 to 6500 feet with showers mainly confined to Elko County.
