Numerous showers and storms overnight Rainy through Saturday; Dry to Start the Week Widespread Showers this Evening through Sat Night
Showers and embedded thunderstorms will arrive this evening with showers continuing through Saturday night for a majority of the region. A couple of strong or even a severe storm may be possible this evening over southern Kansas where nickel to quarter sized hail may be possible. Areas in south central and southeast Kansas have the highest chances of seeing at least an inch of rainfall. This may result in localized flooding in low-lying areas.
