NWS forecast: Sunny, with a high near 69. Northeast wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
Southwest to west winds will begin to increase through the middle of the upcoming work week, especially over the plains of Central and North Central Montana. While these increasing winds will also coincide with moderating temperatures across the region, a window of time will exist for any recent snow to blow and drift. Any blowing and drifting snow would lead to reductions in visibility and the potential for lane blockages. Continue to monitor later forecasts for updates on the potential impacts to travel from these increasing winds.
