Key Messages
A Pacific cold front will move into the region late Saturday and night before stalling on Sunday and clash with an unseasonably warm and moist air mass that will produce widespread showers and thunderstorms.
As the thunderstorms develop into line segments and work with the available instability, damaging wind gusts will be possible, along with a brief spin up tornado and large hail.
The slow movement of the front, along with very rich Gulf moisture, will bring the potential for high rainrates over a location for a prolonged period, bring about a risk of urban and poor drainage area flooding.
