Hazardous swimming conditions are expected on Lake MI tonight into Monday afternoon. There is a moderate swim risk in La Porte County, IN and a High swim risk in Berrien County, MI. Waves of 2 to 5 feet and dangerous currents are expected, with the highest waves and stronger currents most likely further north in Berrien County, where a beach hazards statement is in effect. Those visiting the beaches should plan to stay out of the water. Stay off of breakwalls and piers, as waves can wash a person into the lake.
