Much cooler conditions continue today, with highs a good 10-15 degrees below late May normals. Mountain rain and snow showers, with embedded thunderstorms, are expected to linger over the higher terrain today, favoring the northern and central mountains. Additional snow accumulations of 1-3 inches are possible, mainly above treeline. Clear skies tonight will result in some pretty chilly temperatures, with the southern Colorado valleys potentially seeing sub-freezing temperatures. Tomorrow will see quieter and warmer conditions.
