After another very wet night across parts of central Iowa, the broad area of thunderstorms has ended. However, isolated to scattered storms are possible throughout the day. While most of the day will be dry, any storms may have a brief period of heavy rainfall. A low chance for severe weather does exist. Damaging wind gust is the primary threat. A few storms are possible this evening but overall, should be very isolated for the fireworks celebration.
