NWS forecast: Patchy fog before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
While there will be times of dry conditions, the overall pattern will be a wet with periods of heavy rainfall this week. The locally heavy rainfall will lead to the potential for flash flooding starting tonight with additional potential for flash flooding in varying parts of Iowa in the coming days. As the water routes into area waterways, river levels will rise as will the potential for river flooding on some rivers by later this week.
