Much colder temperatures will prevail by Thanksgiving morning and linger into at least the first part of next week. Lake effect snow showers will affect mainly northwest Pennsylvania later tonight into Friday evening. The snow showers will become more widespread across the Laurel Highlands later Thursday into Friday. Winds will be on the gusty side into Friday. Folks traveling over the next several days should listen to later forecast and be prepared for winter weather conditions. Temperatures on Thursday afternoon will not really change much from early morning lows.
