Showers and thunderstorms will favor areas along and west of the Central Mountain Chain through Monday. Storms will move toward the east and northeast around 10 to 20 mph today and toward the north and northeast around 15 to 25 mph on Monday. Most likely rainfall amounts will generally be up to one inch, though localized areas may receive 1.5 to 3 inches of rainfall through Monday. Heavy rainfall may cause flash flooding in areas that see repeated rounds of rainfall.
