A spring like system will bring much cooler temperatures with widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms this weekend. Temperatures on Friday and Saturday will feel more like late April/early May. With the cooler air mass, snow levels will lower to around 6000 ft late Friday through Saturday, so some snow flurries are possible across the highest peaks. Temperatures trend warmer Sunday into Monday, and shower chances diminish, but it will still feel quite cool to recent days. Afternoon highs return to more seasonable norms for the latter half of the week.
