We're in for a round of wild spring weather the next few days. Today will see temperatures near to around 5 degrees above normal, but by tomorrow temperatures will fall to 10-15 degrees below normal. Strong southwesterly winds today will gust 35-45 mph, with critical fire weather conditions possible for the southwest Colorado valleys and the Delta-Montrose basin. Red Flag Warnings are in effect for those areas from 11am to 8pm, and Wind Advisories are in effect for several other valley locations as well. Valley rain and mountain snow picks up this evening as a cold front pushes through. Winter Weather Advisories go into effect this evening and last through Saturday. Higher elevations are expected to see 6-12 inches of snow by Sunday morning.
