Wet, messy roads are expected across many areas this morning due to rain and snow melt. Strong winds are in store later today with gusts to 35-50 mph through this afternoon. Mild temps this morning will fall through the day, eventually transitioning rain to snow across parts of northern Michigan. A brief period of hazardous travel is possible this afternoon with falling snow and strong winds leading to quick drops in visibility for drivers. Snowfall amounts are expected to stay below 1”.
