A passing disturbance early Thursday morning will bring a line of strong to severe storms across portions of the area. These storms will likely be strongest across southern Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle with the line forecast to slowly lose strength with eastern extent by the time it arrives to south-central Georgia and the Florida Big Bend. The main concerns with this line will be damaging wind gusts (50 to 70 mph) within the more organized segments of the line. Additionally, a few tornadoes remain possible, with the greatest tornado risks focused across southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
