Saturday
Rain then Rain Showers Likely
Hi 60 °F
NWS forecast: Rain before 11am, then rain showers likely between 11am and 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
WEEKEND FOCUS: Both days will be breezy with plentiful clouds, but Sunday will be warmer (highs 50s Saturday/70s Sunday). MOST places will be dry MOST of this weekend, but scattered showers/weak storms will roam our region Saturday, and Sunday evening could bring a few severe storms mainly to our western counties.
PLEASE NOTE: severe weather Sunday evening is not a "sure thing", and the two biggest question marks are: 1) will storms be able to overcome a weak cap of warm air aloft to develop ...2) IF storms do form, will they impact our western forecast area or instead focus mainly just west of our area altogether
