|
A low pressure system will bring widespread rain and possible thunderstorms to southern California, with rain starting as early as Thursday night. Expecting about 0.50 to 1.50 inches of rain, with higher totals for the mountains and foothills, and for localized areas that experience thunderstorms. Thunderstorms can lead to heavy downpours, lightning, small hail, and locally gusty winds. Mountain snow is also expected, with up to 6 inches above 6000 feet. There is also a 10-20% chance for a dusting of snow over the Grapevine late Sun into early Mon. Prepare for the weather by adjusting outdoor plans and travel plans.
