Over the next 5 days, rain and thunderstorm chances will increase as a frontal boundary pushes into north and central Georgia today. The main threats will be gusty winds and frequent lightning each afternoon with scattered thunderstorms. Although the risk for severe weather is currently low, an isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out. Temperatures will be seasonable through the week ahead, ranging from the mid 80s to the mid 90s with partly cloudy to cloudy skies through the end of the week.
