The general window for storms across the state is from 6pm Monday to 5am Tuesday. The earliest potential start time in western Iowa is 5pm, with the most likely time for storms to fire being around 6pm. As the organize, they will clear the western part of the state around midnight, but may linger as late as 1am Tuesday. For central Iowa, the most likely time window is from 8pm to 1am, with storms ending by 3am. As the line of storms moves east, they should begin to weaken, exiting the area by 4am, with some storms lingering as late as 5am.
