Wildfire danger will increase during the day on Friday as elevated wind gusts, low Relative Humidity values (across western Arkansas on Friday afternoon/Friday evening, and a stout CAP that will be in place across much of the state and may suppress rain and thunderstorm development keeping dry conditions in place. A high risk of wildfire danger is in place across the northern part of Arkansas. Several counties have initiated burn bans across northern Arkansas.
