Along the Pacific coastline, expect strong rip currents and an increased risk for sneaker waves beginning Saturday morning through Sunday evening. If the ocean looks flat at the beach during a long-period swell, wait at least 20 minutes as sneaker waves can unexpectedly run significantly farther up the beach than normal. Rip currents are also more common and stronger nearby jetties, inlets, and piers. Stay off the rocks and NEVER turn your back on the ocean!
