Near record high temperatures in the low to mid 90s, including the coast where a lack of sea breeze will prolong hot conditions. Winds increase to around 20 mph with frequent gusts 30 to 35 mph, and occasional gusts to around 40 mph ahead of the front. There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms in Lake and Volusia counties, and a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Brevard counties. Rain and storm chances continue Saturday night into Sunday, though storms will be more typical of Florida.
