Key Details:
Multiple rounds of southerly swells impacting south facing beaches through the weekend.
Hurricane Fausto Swell (through Saturday morning): 3-5 feet at 11-14 seconds from 170-190 degrees.
Southern Hemisphere Swell (Saturday through Sunday): 1-2 feet at 18-22 seconds from 200-220 degrees.
Elevated surf with hazardous rip currents.
Will lead to increased ocean rescues.
Additional southerly swells on the way next week.
Actions:
Remain out of the water if possible.
Stay near lifeguards if you decide go into the water.
Stay off rocks and jetties.
