Hi 83 °F
NWS forecast: Patchy fog before 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. West wind 0 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
A variety of weather impacts are expected this week into next week. Coastal Flood Advisories are currently in effect for Ventura/LA beaches and Catalina Island and continue into Tuesday, with high tides rising to 7+ feet by the weekend. The heat will wind down, as an upper level trough and moisture from Hurricane Rachel moves into the area, bringing some light to moderate rain and a 10% chance of thunderstorms to the area as early as Saturday morning, continuing until as late as Tuesday night (with highest chances Sunday/Monday).
