A series of Pacific weather systems will impact the Northern Rockies Thursday night through Saturday morning. Widespread snow will impact travel across mountain passes leading to periods of winter driving conditions. The best window for valley snow accumulations is Thursday night through Friday morning. Rising snow levels and temperatures will limit valley snow potential by Friday afternoon, with the potential for light freezing rain in the valleys of western Montana, south of Highway 2 and along I-90.
