Friday evening will be partly cloudy, with some isolated strong to severe thunderstorms in southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the upper 50s to mid 60s, before warming into the upper 80s to low 90s in sunshine Saturday afternoon. There should be some scattered showers and thunderstorms around on Sunday and Monday, mainly in the evening and early mornings. Otherwise, warmth will be building across the region through next week, with plenty of upper 80s to mid 90s in the extended forecast.
