A warm, yet unsettled weekend is in store across the Northern Rockies. On Saturday, gusty showers with a few thunderstorms are possible from Idaho County east and north into west-central and southwest Montana. Wind gusts could exceed 40 mph with the stronger showers. On Sunday, another round of showers and thunderstorms are possible as a cold front nears the region. The storms could product gusty winds, small hail and heavy downpours. It will be much colder on Monday with highs only in the 40s and 50s with potential for snow in the mountains and 60s and 70s in the valleys.
