Southern Rockies Radar Excessive Rainfall Sunday and Monday Flash Flood Watch Sunday Burn Scar Flood Safety Temp & Precip Outlook
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the recent burn scars of the south-central mountains. Saturated ground in the Ruidoso area from heavy rain and flash flooding that occurred on Friday and Saturday will result in rapid runoff as additional storms develop Sunday. Stronger cells today will again be capable of producing rain at rates over 1 inch per hour.
