Have you ever wondered what make fireworks so colorful Well the answer turns out to be different chemical elements added to the mixture that burn with a distinctive color! It also turns out those elements travel a long way to get to your show as well, as all come from the hearts of old stars that once shown in the night sky.
In "Periodic order" Lithium(3)-pink, Sodium(11)-yellow, Calcium(20)-orange, Copper(29)-blue, Strontium(35)-red, Barium(56)-green, Strontium + Copper = purple. For the color white (not shown), its either Magnesium(12), Aluminum(13), or Titanium(22).
