Plenty of afternoon sunshine is in store for this week, though with cloudy mornings to start in West Side Valleys. Mornings will be on the chilly side as well with afternoon temperatures hovering a few degrees below normal through Thursday. Afternoon temperatures trend warmer for Friday and Saturday. Cool and wet weather returns late Saturday into Monday with the next front expected to move onshore late Saturday night. Another round of widespread rainfall is expected, with the highest amounts expected north of the OR/CA border. Snow levels will hover around 6000-7000 ft with the bulk of the precipitation, so wintry impacts will be limited.
