A line of severe thunderstorms has developed this afternoon across central KS, presenting a damaging wind risk and the potential for a brief tornado this evening in eastern KS and western MO. Additional rounds of storms are expected overnight tonight, however, timing and placement are dependent on the evolution of the afternoon/evening storms. There is also a concern for flooding with heavy rainfall from this round of storms and future storms on Monday.
