Patchy Fog then Mostly Cloudy
Hi 69 °F
NWS forecast: Patchy fog before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Southwest wind 0 to 10 mph.
The severe weather outlook for tonight has recently been expanded with the slight risk (level-2 out of 5) now in place across a few north to northeast portions of the coverage area. Though the coverage of storms tonight is expected to remain fairly widespread in general, there is some question as to how long storms may be able to maintain their severe characteristics The best potential for severe weather will fall between mainly 8PM and 2AM tonight and more concentrated towards southwest and northwest portions of the area. Though not every storm is expected to become severe, the strongest storms will still be able to produce large hail up to the size of golf balls and gusty winds up to near 70MPH.
