Hi 54 °F
NWS forecast: Rain before 5pm, then a slight chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Near-blizzard to blizzard conditions are possible late Friday night into Saturday as snow and wind combine to create hazardous travel in the form of slippery roads and low visibilities. Winds could gust as high as 50-60 mph into Saturday, and these winds could cause some tree damage and/or some power outages. Generally looking at a half inch to 2 inches of snow, but some locally higher amounts are possible. There is still some uncertainty in the snowfall amounts forecast due to lingering rain-to-snow timing and maximum snowfall rate uncertainty, so be sure to keep up to date with the latest forecast!
