A parting shot of arctic air grazes the region Monday and Tuesday, keeping highs in the 30s to low 40s. Lows Monday night crater into the teens to possibly even single digits in favored locations in central Wisconsin. Temperatures rebound closer to average for the middle to end of the week. There will be isolated snow showers on Monday, mainly east of the Mississippi River, with the best chance of widespread rain coming from Tuesday night into Wednesday night. The risk for additional rounds of rain lingers into the weekend, but confidence in where this rain falls is on the low side.
