A winter storm will bring heavy, wet snow to the U.P late tonight into Wednesday. A mix of freezing rain and snow is possible at precipitation onset, especially over the southern half of the U.P. The combination of strong winds and heavy snow will result in low visibility over the Keweenaw and near Lake Superior, as well as sporadic power outages. Snow is expected to mix with or change to freezing rain on Wednesday afternoon, especially over the southern two thirds of the U.P.
