Today will be another hot, breezy day across the region, with slightly cooler but still well above normal temperatures. The strongest wind gusts today to around 40 mph will be across portions of the western Mojave Desert toward Barstow and Daggett, as well as localized spots along the higher terrain of the southern Great Basin.
